Membership & Pay Rates

 

Any rated or probationary women’s lacrosse umpire who resides in Central Texas, pays dues to the CTWLOO, and is a member in good standing of USA Lacrosse, is considered a member of CTWLOO.

Annual Dues

CTWLOO Membership  
Adult Official $50
Junior Official (HS Student) $30

CTWLOO Membership Dues are to be paid annually before the start of the spring season via Venmo (Business account: @CTWLOO), https://ctwloo.square.site/ or in person via check made out to CTWLOO.

CTWLOO membership dues are used to cover operating expenses not directly related to games such as ArbiterSports subscriptions for all members, printed rule books/manuals, recruiting and training new officials, and accounting software.

USA Lacrosse Membership  
Adult (+23) $60
Young Adult (19-22) $35
High School (15-18) $35

All CTWLOO members are required to be a USA Lacrosse member in good standing. USA Lacrosse memberships can be managed at USALacrosse.com.

New officials who are already USA Lacrosse members as a coach or a player do not need to pay again, but will need to update their Involvement Type to include Official and Program Affiliation to include Central Texas Womens' Lacrosse Officials Organization (CTWLOO).

2024 Pay Rates

Pre Season Scrimmages & Tournaments: to be negotiated by the Assigner, suggested minimum rate of $1.15/min/official (incl. half time)

High School Games

Paid directly by the team to the official through ArbiterPay or Invoice.
19 of the 22 CTGHSLL member programs intend to pay officials through ArbiterPay; 3 require invoices.

INVOICING: Antonian, St. Mary's Hall and Smithson Valley require officials to submit an invoice to them for each game. Officials need to complete the CTWLOO invoice and W9 before an Antonian, St. Mary's Hall or Smithson Valley home game. Officals should bring the CTWLOO invoice and W9 with them to the game to hand to the home team's coaches or GDA before the game starts, and email a copy of the CTWLOO invoice and W9 to the home team's contacts. The CTWLOO Treasurer, Rachel Gozhansky, will plan to email reminders to officials scheduled to work home games for these 3 teams before they occur.

Payment is due to the official by the end of the month in which the game occurred. If you have not been paid for a game, please notify the Treasurer at treasurer@ctwloo.org immediately.

Travel to High School Games: There is NO separate pay for travel to high school games in Austin. This amount has been included in the overall high school payrate. However, if an official is hired to work at a site outside of Austin (example: New Braunfels or San Antonio) official will be paid:

  • 40-69 miles = $50/official/day
  • 70+ miles = $75/official/day

Youth Games

Paid by CTWLOO to the official via ArbiterPay.

Travel to Youth Games: Officials will be paid for mileage driven round trip from their home location to game sites at a rate of $.625/mile.

Trainers

Scrimmage or tournament game fee for field training during a game.
$20/hr for classroom or field training outside of a game.

About US

Central Texas Womens’ Lacrosse Officials Organization (CTWLOO) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) membership based association of certified girls’ lacrosse officials. CTWLOO serves the Central Texas community by providing officials for high school and youth girls’ lacrosse events across the region.

The mission of the CTWLOO is to promote quality lacrosse officiating in Central Texas through recruitment, education, a mentorship program, training, and development.  We are comprised of skilled, knowledgeable officials who are dedicated to the integrity of the game and who, in collaboration with the players and coaches, facilitate safe and fair women’s and girl’s lacrosse in Central Texas.
